A short calculator. Four numbers in, an annual figure out — the cost of the time you spend on email plus the revenue at risk from quotes you never followed up on.
It compares against SAM Essential at £299/month so you can see whether the maths supports an AI inbox agent for your business, or whether it doesn't yet. No sign-up. Nothing stored.
So you can check the working — or argue with it.
The annual time cost is the simplest line: hours per week on email × the hourly rate of the person doing it × 52 weeks. If a director on £75/hour spends a real eight hours a week on inbox, that line alone is over £31,000.
The lost-revenue line assumes a 25% conversion rate on quotes followed up on time — a middle-of-the-road number for B2B proposals (industry benchmarks sit between 20% and 35%). If your actual close rate is higher, the figure is conservative; if it's lower, this line will overstate. The time cost holds regardless.
The SAM comparison line uses Essential at £299/month plus a £499 one-off setup in year one, then £299/month ongoing. AI usage is included subject to fair use, so there is no token-based billing in either figure.
